Early support matters-through our Call Center, we offer direct help with Early Intervention, The Committee on Preschool Special Education, 2K-preK, childcare vouchers-and connections to general literacy and learning resources.
Navigating services can be tricky, confusing, and time-consuming; UMECC is here to walk these paths with you. If you are not sure if your child needs a service, or if you want information about ways to bolster your child's development, give us a call!
Jugar y Grow
Jugar y Grow was created to give all families the tools and support they need to help their children grow and learn. The program is open to families who are waiting for early intervention services, families whose child did not qualify for services, and families who need toys and learning materials at home.
Jugar y Grow helps families support their child's growth through play. We teach parents and caregivers about how to use the toys to help build language, movement, problem-solving, and social skills.
Families learn easy and fun ways to play with their children at home. They also receive a free toy kit with toys and activities that match their child's age and stage of development.
We believe every child should have the chance to learn through play. By providing toys, guidance, and support, Jugar Y Grow helps children build new skills while helping caregivers feel confident in supporting their child's development. Join us at a program soon! See our calendar for dates.
